Craig Brockhaus' 1958 FC-150

Craig Brockhaus' 1958 FC-150

My little FC-150 is quite the world traveler. Built in Toledo in 1958 and exported to Sweden where the coach builder Scania Vabis converted her into the personal carrier you see here. It was used by the Swedish Forestry Service as a transport vehicle to haul loggers back and forth to the woods to harvest timber. The Sweds affectionately named her “Marilyn” after Marilyn Monroe for her curves and good lines. She came back home to the States this year where I have been getting her back in shape. I have decided to leave her in her natural state for the time being but future plans include a total restoration back to her glory days as a Swedish “Pack Mule.”
