I inherited this Jeep from my grandfather back in 2005 when I was in college. At the time I had no money to properly restore it, so just put enough into it to get it running. This jeep is special and carries so many stories with it, including holding two deer on the bumper and an elk draped over the hood.
I recently went all in on the restoration where my two kids got to be a part of it, and trailered it for a 7 hour trip upon completion to take my grandpa for a ride. His face was priceless!
Thank you KW for the many years of support as I literally took every body panel apart, sourced the panels I needed and welded it back together. I rebuilt this with the goal of 70+ more years of memories, and honoring my Grandfather who always did his own work on everything and can fix everything!!

It’s GREAT to see you repaired the body rather than just replace it, like so many other “restorations” I see. This is a true restoration and looks great.
Thanks Mark! It was such a fun and meaningful project! Now I am getting to create memories in it on the trail with my kids. -Dayne
Dayne,
Absolutely a beautiful job, wow. I bet your Grandpa was so proud!!!
Really means something, what you did.
Life gives us opportunities, and using them well is the way to go!
Great job and good memories… best wishes to you!
Thank you Gary! His face said it all when I took him for a ride. -Dayne
