My 1961 CJ-5 was purchased by my grandparents in 1981 as a summer toy to tow from Oklahoma to New Mexico so that they could drive it in and around Red River, New Mexico. It was parked in their garage in 1993 and remained unused until 2016 when my grandmother passed. I purchased a ton of parts through Kaiserwillys.com to refurbish and revive this Willys so it can be driven around the neighborhood and out on nice warm weekends. It’s an absolute blast and ALWAYS puts a smile on my face and attracts the attention of other motorists, car enthusiasts and onlookers everywhere.

Vehicle Specs:
4 cylinder F-134 Hurricane
3 speed T-90 transmission (w/o OD)
Ramsey winch w/ PTO
Originally painted Mallard or Royal Blue Poly, the paint color was changed sometime after 1981 to a Corvette yellow.

Wow! I have exactly the same Jeep. 1961 CJ-5, yellow, white spoked wheels. Look like carbon copies. Good fun to drive.
