I have been a Jeep enthusiast since I was 7 years old, when I found a GI Joe Jeep under the Christmas tree. I would lay on the floor and watch the Rat Patrol while rolling my Jeep around. Since then I have owned 10 ‘real’ Jeeps and have loved every one. My latest, a ’49 CJ-3A came to me from southern California. I bought it sight unseen and was excitedly surprised to find that it wasn’t all chopped up and full of rust! It didn’t take me long to get it on the (off) road again and I am slowly removing the few “modern” parts and returning “Jenny” to her original glory!

I think your love for the Jeep is rubbing off on your daughter! (Not a bad thing!) It looks like a bonding that will endure time! The same thing happened with my daughter when she was little! She still drives a Jeep! Hope

Rat Patrol was an influence on me, too. I have a ’45 that hasn’t been licensed since 1961, waiting for the shop to be finished. I was born in ’61.
