My Grandfather’s CJ-6 Jeep Restored and Used for Many Trips

This is my Grandfather’s Jeep, a 1960 CJ-6. My grandfather purchased in the CJ-6 in 1985 from Wardha Auction of Health Department. We have been using this Jeep for over 37 years. In the olden days, we have gone 400 to 600 kms of a one way trip in this Jeep and round trip we have gone 800 to 1200 kms which is 500 to 750 miles. We have gone on many long trips in this Jeep, used also off-road many times, and now also we are using this jeep 700 to 1200 miles as usual for picnics and all. This was in very excellent condition and drives very smooth. We are also have a 1943 Bantam-T-3 Trailer with this Jeep.

The CJ-6 has original parts which we collected from around the world, we have collected many parts from Pakistan also and much more parts imported from USA.

Some of the parts and accessories; Ramsey winch with PTO, Warn Locking Hubs, Carter YF Carb, AC Fuel Pump, Champion Spark Plugs, GE Sealed Beam Headlamps, Extra Lights are also GE, and
Tires are 700×16 Firestone Military Group Square Shoulder, which we imported from USA, for both the Jeep and the Trailer.
