256: Jerry O’Neill’s 1945 Willys CJ-2A
One of only 1824 CJ-2A’s produced in 1945. Serial Number 11802 is 22 from the end of the 1945 year. It has 27,000 original miles, I’m only the second owner and it was being used on a farm right up until I acquired it. It is all original and no rust at all! Being the “anchorman” for the 1945 year, I have enjoyed other owners of 1945 2A’s contacting me and asking for photos of different items so they can restore theirs correctly. It is untouched and in original paint.

Funny thing is i am sitting thinking about my jeeps reading other jeep stories, and look up at the wall at my 2016 Calendar and think “Man I wanna hear the story on that one”. I looked passed it a few times not recognizing it with the eyes on the windshield and before it is too late I went back to the “Sarge” looking jeep and “BAM” there it is great story. Odd that not knowing it was the same jeep from all angles it showed it had an appealing story Congrats
