My 1953 M38A1 rat rod equipped with a v2203 Kubota turbo diesel from a skid steer. I have rebuilt the transmission, rear axle, steering box, and front knuckles with parts from Kaiser Willys. I’ve also added some modern touches like a radio and speakers, updated gauges, vintage kc lights with led internals, 3” straight pipe with 8” polished exhaust tip, 4 core aluminum radiator, electric fan and 33-9.50r15 radial MT tires. Many people have told me it belongs in a museum and shouldn’t be heavily wheeled like I do. This Jeep would have been scrapped if I wouldn’t have started into this build. This machine is a beast and will go just about anywhere you point it and look ugly while doing it. In rust we trust.
