I purchased this CJ-2A while on temporary duty in Wichita Kansas in 2016. I had always wanted one after seeing my late step-fathers four wheel steer perfect show quality Willys. Mine sat in the Air Base parking lot for a month until I returned home towing it with a Toyota Tacoma. Shortly after getting it home the 4-134 threw a rod. After driving to Pennsylvania for three bare blocks I found a complete 134 in Ohio and purchased that to install. I ended up painting the tub and chassis, rebuilt engine from 1954 by a NAPA auto parts store, all new brakes, fuel tank and system, wiring, wheels and tires. Now it has seen some Indy 4×4 Jamborees and gets driven regularly in the summer months.
