Ed Milliken's 1946 Willys CJ-2A

Ed Milliken's 1946 Willys CJ-2A

My Dad (Ed Milliren) lives in Searchlight, NV (population 530) and being near the Mohave Desert he has always had a Jeep. For the past 5 years now, he has owned a 1946 Willys CJ-2A (Flat Fender) with a CJ-3A windshield. He is a retired Nevada Department of Transportation Supervisor. During his tenure he acquired a great knowledge of off road trails around the desert southwest region. He enjoys getting outdoors and taking the Jeep on Poker Runs or meetings friends for a day of off road desert trails or going to the Sand Dunes. On the flip side, my Dad loves his Willys Jeep – some might call it an obsession keeping it clean and entering his Willys Jeep into Car Shows with me (in my 1967 Ford Mustang).

  1. Great looking CJ 2A…. Does it have the original engine?…. I sure like the overall appearance and perhaps someday my ’49 CJ 3A will hopefully look as nice!

  3. Nice . I have a 46 cj2a and I would like to get away from the tube tires. Any suggestions for what size of tubeless tires and wheels will fit.
