Photo # 1 is from 2009, (you see I sort of have a thing for Willys vehicles)

I bought this 1963 Willys Truck in 1999, it had been a farm truck in the central valley of California, around the town of Patterson. I saw it on Craigslist and was told it was original and drove a couple of hours to see it in person. It had been recently repainted and had a Chevrolet 250 CID engine in it, not quite stock. I have worked on it over the years and it has been really dependable so over the years I started driving it to the Moab Willys Rally. It has stock running gear with a Warn overdrive. This year I was getting ready for the Moab trip, but since the Rally was cancelled and I had done a brake job and resealed the front differential, and all the mechanicals were done I decided to do a repaint and fix the shoddy work done to the frame and firewall to get the 250 to fit, hence the pictures.

Photo # 2 is from 2013 trip to Moab at Leman Caverns campground in Nevada
Photo # 3 is 2020 just prior to Covid-19
Photo # 4 is July 17 2020 in it’s current state.

I hope to have it ready for Moab next year. (The older truck in the picture is a 1924 Willys Overland that has been in our extended family since 1968).
