Although the Gartforvets jeep “Little Glory” 1952 M38 was too young to participate, Rosie the 1943 Willys MB owned by Captain Scott Montefusco of Gartforvets.org fit the bill and she is now a star. The feature film titled “Devils Men” is the true story of The First Special Services Force which served in WW2. This historic unit was credited with being the first  U.S forces in Italy Responsible for clearing the Italian  Mountain tops of Germans Occupying Italy.  They were also the first unit into Rome Helping to liberate Italy. All profits from participating in the film with Gartforvets Vehicles were donated to the gartforvets campaign.

  1. Looks pretty cool!

Not being picky, but this stands out.

Need to reverse that 1st and 3rd pic

Shovel and ax, steering wheel on wrong side, gun feeds from the left

Get rid of the locking hubs, not a original type item.

Sorry—I’m just in tune with all of that, in making my CJ2A into a close MB,

    Other folks may not notice

  3. Yea. The MG feed. axe/shovel and steering wheel are incorrect in the first pic, correct in the second, incorrect in the third and correct in the fifth. I’m really surprised their continuity crew didn’t pick up on this. Has to be two different vehicles but they didn’t feel it made any difference I guess. It does. Historic accuracy lends credibility to the story being told. It may be picking C-hairs here to point it out, but what do they expect from a site that sells parts for historic vehicles? I do hope it does well and is seen by many.

  5. That’s pretty cool, I would definitely have that poster on my wall if that were my boy, but you’re right, it is funny how classic cars portrayed in movies are always immaculately clean but then again so are the actors. I don’t blame anyone. I would charge extra for mud (and the removal of non-period extras) either way very cool congratulations on that feather
