My first car was a 1950 Willys Jeepster with the same color scheme as my 1948 in the picture. I had wanted one since then. When I got the invitation to my 50th high school reunion, I was determined to get one and found one within 100 miles from me. It was partially restored (enough that I took it 300 miles to my reunion). When I came out of the hotel the day after arriving 7 of my classmates were sitting in it. As described by a classmate taking pictures from the hotel balcony over the street, we had a one-car parade all over town, beeping the distinctive Jeep horn. It was a ball. I have done a little more restoration on it but it is still a work in progress.
