I have been a Jeep fan since the “Rat Patrol” show in the 60’s. While in the Army I worked in Maintenance and now and then we got to restore vehicle’s for the Gold Star Museum on Camp Dodge in Iowa. This was one of my most enjoyable of Army assignments.

I retired from the Army several years ago and moved to the Colorado Rockies with a couple of Willys in tow. The area is awesome, and if that wasn’t enough I struck Gold. With the dry climate I started finding classic Willys everywhere, even if they didn’t run they were solid. I had run a surplus shop for a while but I am now working on a Museum. It’s a private collection of the “Jeep Rescue League”, thought I would look for 1 of each model, but found there are alot of them…

  1. Terry,
Awesome collection! I am partial to wagons…I have 1953.
In the article,, there was a picture of all kinds of parts? Would you be willing to part with any of your duplicates? There are a couple of things I am looking for, in particular.
    Let me know…Alan

  3. Funny Terry mentioned “dry” jeeps in Colorado. I just purchased a ’50 Cj3A from Colorado (now in SoCal) and I’ll be dipped…bone dry. The PO must have kept it inside when not in use.

  11. A buddy of mine stumbled across your place last month on a quick trip from Texas to the San Juans. He sent me oodles of pictures that I’m still drooling over. Great little place you have there. Keep up the Willys work!
