This 1947 Willys CJ-2A was purchased on 7/26/58 for $150.00 from Hausman Motors in Louisville KY. This Willys Jeep has been in continuous use by the family since then. It has went through many changes over the years and I am currently in 5 months into the process of restoration, all family with no outside help.

  1. I have a 49 Willys Jeepster that has been in the family since 1963 and its been through may alterations and is now proudly used in around town for sunny day rides, of course Rodo days parade. local car shows and just showing off around town.

  3. I have a 1946 CJ2A with three on the tree that belonged to my fathers Aunt. But it cost $850 in 1948. Bought new.

  5. Greetings! Congratulations on keeping your Jeep a Jeep! It saddens me to see someone destroy a legend in order to make a freak, even though their bodywork and mechanical work are excellent.
My parents told me that I was with them when they purchased our CJ-2A in 1946 and I’m still driving it, in nice weather!! LOL The Jeep is completely stock and is still 6 volts with the original engine and such. I was in the military for thirty years so it sat in the barn quite a bit and had some easy years, but would be driven when I could. My Mama taught me to drive in Jeep and I taught my son!!
Your workmanship appears excellent and I again congratulate your keeping your Jeep a Jeep!

  7. Still thinking about buying this CJ3B but it will need many parts and
I don’t know how many other jeep years use the same parts. Where is the best
Place to try to get 53 parts? Thank you
