590: Adan Maldonado’s 1961 Willys Pickup
1961 Willys Pickup Truck on a 1977-3/4 ton chevy 4×4 frame. It has a 1986 Chevy 305 motor, power steering and power disk brakes in the front. Currently being converted to an automatic th350 transmission with a newly remanufactured Chevy 305 motor. Air condition is currently being looked at for those 105 degree days in Laredo, Texas – “the gateway to Mexico City”. I bought this pickup truck from a nice fellow originally from Oregon, via Colorado and finally, Rockdale, Texas. I have owned it 2 weeks and he constructed it together about 10 years ago back in Oregon, where his father and brother are Willys kind of people also.
