My Father bought a 1961 Willys pick up in December of 1960. I was very young but can remember when he brought it home and how excited I was. I learned to drive with it in low pastures in Connecticut. I’ve shared many Willys Pick Up stories with my three boys over the years. My dads Truck sadly is no longer with us. However, because of the fond memories of this truck we bought this project truck to work on and enjoy and create more great memories going forward! Love my Willys Jeep!

  3. Beautiful truck! I wish I still had my 57 Jeep Station Wagon, even if it was only a 2WD. I burnt a valve in the Jeep, and traded it for a 58 VW Karmann-Ghia.

  5. Fabulous story of fond memories kept alive by an old truck. I have a 56 pickup like yours that has generated a sea of fond and sometimes comical memories as well. I find it wonderful how things like an old chair or set of plates handed down from one to another can keep alive the things in life that are the real, cherished elements of our lives, the relationships and love that shape and nurture us along this path called life. God bless you and your wonderful family. John
