Suzanne Koster's 1964 Wagoneer

I’ve always wanted a Jeep Gladiator Truck but I’m a mother of two and you can’t fit car seats or a family of four in a single bench seat. My husband and I found our Wagoneer on Craigslist and I wasn’t too sure about it until we went to check her out. It was love at first sight and I knew I had to buy it. The Jeep was a bit rough when we brought it home. It basically needed everything repaired or replaced including the motor. So my husband and I got to work stripping the old and prepping it for the new. I was in charge of the inside and he was in charge of the motor and drivetrain. It has been a long year but we are finally done with the restoration just in time for winter. I now have the Jeep that I’ve always wanted since I was a kid and I have the room for my family that I needed.

  1. Hello,
So many memories as my dad and mom bought a blue one when I was 6 years old. Great looking Jeep!

  3. Very nice ride well done I always loved that body style I had one years ago with the 230 in it I did a spring over axle for some lift. It was a beast in the woods. The door tag said Willys on it I was told it was still made by Willys but I cannot confirm that. Pa. winters and salt took it away from me living in the rust belt sucks.
Again you did a great job enjoy !!!

  5. You’re a most unusual mother. You have a real classic.
What kind of hand brush did you use to get clean?

  9. let’s all keep them on the road. I have a ’59 and a ’62 Willys Station Wagons, plus 2 1983 Wagoneers, a ’77 Cherokee S, and a 1991 Cherokee 4.0
what fun they are. The ’59 gets the most attention.
