My dad bought this Jeep over 10 years ago back when I was in high school. He fixed the brakes on it, taught me how to drive stick on it, and sold it to me for a weekend project. We’ve spent every Saturday for the last 10 years working together to take it from a rusted yard toy where the body moved around when you hit a bump and shifted the gears on its own, to a fully restored weekend driver. We just finished restoring it about a month ago and have been enjoying it together ever since. The tag numbers in the hood are the dog tag numbers of my great uncle, in honor of him. There is a lot of time and family memories packed into this Jeep and just driving it around and sharing it’s stories makes the hard work well worth it.
