This was previously my uncle’s 1946 CJ-2A he purchased in the late 80’s and used as a daily driver. I remember riding around in the back of it when I was very young. The Jeep was disassembled in the early 90’s for an engine rebuild and never put back together. My uncle purchased a restored WWII Jeep in 2017 and I acquired the old CJ-2A in 2018. Two years of work in my garage and she is now road worthy. Engine rebuild using Kaiser Willys engine rebuild kit along with rebuilt transmission. All new brake system, tires, and much more. Gets smiles and waves where ever I go. I hope to keep this in my family for many years to come. Currently on active duty, but will transport along with my reassignments. My five and two year old daughter love working on the Jeep!
