Jeepster Club members, friends, and family members gathered at Ford’s Garage in Winter Garden, FL on January 31st for the 2026 Florida Jeepster Lunch. A total of 26 adults and two children (future Willys owners!) attended. Those attending were from Canada, Michigan, Massachusetts, and North Carolina, as well as Florida.
It was a somewhat chilly-for-Florida 55 degrees, but Rus Ahlgrim braved the cool and cloudy central Florida weather to drive his Jeepster to lunch with the top down! Bridget Ahlgrim also drove her beautiful Chevy Corvair. Before and after lunch, everyone was in the parking lot talking about the cars!
The group enjoyed the Ford’s Garage automotive themed restaurant while meeting new friends and visiting with old ones. Dominic Whitley, the new owner of the Jeepster Jim Jeepster restoration business, gave the group an update on his work in the shop and the move to his new facility. Kaiser Willys Auto Supply provided calendars, t-shirts, hats and other goodies to the group! Thank you to Kaiser Willys for supporting this event and the Jeepster Clubs!
