This is the first car I ever bought. In 1975 I was living with my grandparents going to college in Virginia and needed a car. My dad sent me $900 to buy a car and I came home with this Jeep which looked like it had hit a land mine. My Grandfather couldn’t believe I was so irresponsible. At the end of the semester I tow bared my blown MGB a home with the Jeep 700 miles in the winter with no heat. I was 19.

Over the Covid lockdown I decided to rejuvenate the Jeep again and began ordering parts. I rebuilt or placed every nut and bolt from axle bearings to steering worm gear. Every brake line, every seal. Kaiser Willys supplied me the lions share of the parts! Today she runs like new and turns every head in town.

  1. Very nice MGB – a solid investment for a 19-year old; wisdom well beyond your years..

And, two nice “sidearm” accessories as well – another pair of good investments.

  3. I was 19 once, no heat no problem when you found a prize, right. Send me an email and I will show you my 1940 ford coupe, bought it in 1959 and still have it, it had no heat, big deal when you’re having fun.
