The story around my journey on the Willys CJ-3B starts with the restoration of a ‘57 Willys 1 ton pickup. Complete frame off project. A very similar truck like that was the first truck I drove at my uncles farm and was jointly used at my dads farm also. Started restoration in Sept of 2020 and completed June of 2021 and gave my dad a nostalgia ride.
When back in WI this last summer, I located the ‘55 CJ-3B and I’m on a similar restoration timeline as my father is 90. Plan to bring back to WI fully restored. My father drove one like this in a military version when he did a tour in Korea during the Korean conflict.
