Q: Do these mount to pre-existing holes or do they need to be drilled?
- A: It depends on your vehicle. Some were predrilled some never had them. They work either way.
Q: I have a 1951 CJ-3A. I have received your non-retractable seat belts and am ready to install them. Where should I fasten them on the body for the driver and passenger seats? Also, do I need any other hardware to mount them to my Willy’s? This is my first Willy’s Jeep so wanted to make sure I do it right and that it is supported well. Thank you!
- A: Place the mounts to the left and right of each seat in a spot that the washer is able to lay flat so it gets the maximum support from the floor board. All the hardware is included. Thanks again!
Q: What length are the seat belts?
- A: We will check.
Q: I have a 1966 CJ-5 I am rebuilding I was wondering if it came with seat belts from the factory and what year they actually started with seat belts and roll bars? I am trying to keep it as original as possible. This jeep currently has no seat belts or roll bar.
- A: I used to own a 1965 CJ-5 myself and it never had seat belts from the factory. However I think they are a pretty good idea to go back and install whether original or not.
Q: Is there any reason these can’t be used in the rear seat on my 1969 CJ-5? If not, do you have seat belts for the rear?
- A: These will work just fine in the rear too.
