This new steel body tub is manufactured using a seven-step metal preparation process, including: A 5 bath dip to totally eliminate rust, dirt and grease; a phosphate and acid rinse step to ensure corrosion resistance and proper adhesion of the primer; new primer formula and application method that is designed for smooth and even finish. Includes all major factory mounting locations, plus channels for body mounting. Original thickness one-piece steel construction on body tub. All proper bracing with wooden inserts installed. Comes painted in primer.

Q: Does this body fit a 1961 CJ-5? And does it have place for an under the driver seat gas tank? (Hole in side for spout).
- A: Yes that is correct. It has the cut out for the drivers side fuel tank just like original.

Q: For my 1968 CJ-5 on the dash are the cut outs available for seedometer, throttle cable, choke cable, light switch and glove box?
- A: You will have to drill the cut outs on the dash. You can just template them off the original one.

Q: I need a CJ-5 Body Kit for 1965 w/jeep stamped on body, hood has panel for fording similar to M38A1/M170, front fenders do not have marker lamps. Master cyl under drivers foot area. Wipers vacuum mounted on top windshield frame. 4cyl eng not buick v6. Also this vehicle has canvas top and needs stops for doors and side curtains. Also channel on windshield frame at top to slide top across. rear seat mounts/brackets. I understand from word of mouth your product is factory specs!

Q: I have a 1955 CJ-5, can I get a tub with out a fill hole for the fuel tank?
- A: Sorry, nobody makes them that way. You could always fill it in.
Q: Is the dash cut out for the speedometer?
- A: No, you will need to drill that hole.
Q: The picture is not plain on the internet. My Jeep has a Willys on the tailgate and an indention on the side. I do not see that on this picture. Do I need to look at another tub kit. It is a 1960 model.

- A: You will need to drill your body mounting holes and toe board holes. We have a draft seal kit part number: 906638

- A: This will come with the proper non-indented fenders.
Q: Does this tub come with Jeep stamped on it. If not do you make one with the stamp. I don’t see it in your catalog.
- A: These are less the ‘Jeep’ stamping. We do have them with it, but not in a kit.
Q: Is the Jeep stamped body for pre 1970 CJ-5 stamped in upper case letters as the originals are?
- A: These are not stamped. We typically tell people to paint that on. We do have a body stamped Jeep part number: DMC680637
