Here is a pic of my 1948 Willys panel truck. This is my newest project. Our plans are to completely resto mod this Jeep. I plan on replacing the front suspension with a MustangII suspension, and rebuild the factory Dana rear end. Also I have a built 350 producing around 400 HP to give this Willys some ground pounding power. With some custom interior and fabricated body parts I believe this will be a real head turner when it is complete. I have a small customizing shop in Texas and felt this would be a great project.  I will send more pics as the rebuild gets underway.

  1. I have been doing a similar project on a 59. put in a 350 with TH400 and 81 Cutlass rear. The problem i had with the MII front was i should have put about a 2″ riser between the frame and the crossmember. when i got the fenders back on there wasn’t enough wheel clearance. (was a 4wd) I had my radiator made at Walker in Memphis because it had to be modified to fit. They have a big nice heavy duty one they had made up at a b argain price if you can use it.Kinda wish i had done a few changes myself now. Good luck with your project. You will find you will have more power than you want to spend at one time!
