Bought this clunker on an impulse following a reminiscent conversation with an old battle buddy. Long story short, I’ll quote my favorite MEDEVAC saying “We got a save on this one!”. Pic #1(reconditioned transmission being rolled under partially suspended jeep) shows one small victory, one small threshold crossed as progress is slowly gained toward the objective of “Roadworthy”. Pic #2 shows my very chilly wife of 29 years out on snow removal patrol. She warmed up with a cup of tea and entertained my late Korean war veteran friend’s widow, as I dug her out. Pic #3 shows open heart surgery in process.
