This is my 1965 Willys CJ-5. I traded a 1975 VW Baja Bug for it in June of 2012. It is all stock as far as I can tell. The body was in ok shape when I got it and it ran good. I have completely redone the body and repainted it in the correct military green. I did not do a frame off restoration but I did sand down the frame and repaint it. I have plans to redo the motor and transmission this winter so in the spring it will be ready to go. In the last 2 years we have put it in 3 car shows and have 2 nice people’s choice awards. I have met a lot of people who have told me stories about their Jeeps they had and how they wish they still had them. It is a lot of fun to take the Jeep out for a ride and watch the people stare.
