This Jeep was bought brand new by my father…we lived in CA and played in Pismo Beach in the sand dunes…in 1975 we moved to OH. 1986 I turned 16 and my father and I cleaned it up, painted it, some new parts and I drove it for 1.5 yrs until I rolled it over in the winter of 1988, my parents told me to park it in the barn and that’s where it sat for 20yrs…I asked my father about it and he said come get it if you want it…so I did (pic#1). Brought it to MI where I live now and started a restoration…broke it completely down, had to have some welding done on the frame, sandblasted, new Pro Comp Suspension (2.5lift), new seats, seat belts, wiring, paint, and a lot of little parts (some through KaiserWillys) and had it done in about 3.5 months (add’l pics). Now I enjoy it with my son…my father was in complete awe over it, couldn’t believe how it looked.
