579: Karl Campbell’s Willys CJ-5
My uncle bought this CJ-5 in 1956 in Oregon. He had done some terrible modification on the frame over the years. It was last registered in 1972. My cousin acquired it from his dad’s passing. I bought it from him in 2020 and did lots of work to put it back on the road. I found another frame and a 231 odd fire to replace the non reparable ones. Kaiser has been a supplier for many parts. The top came originally with the Jeep. This was my first restoration of a CJ and have had many looks and compliments.
