507: Kevin Martin’s 1954 M170

I have owned this vehicle since the early 2000s, it was my first vehicle and I drove it through high school. Just rebuilt the engine with my wife and 4 year old daughter, it is a family project to protect and educate history. The vehicle was in Vietnam with the National Guard. Current bumper numbers/unit is my wife’s current National Guard Unit.

  1. I just finished a hay shed restoration of a 1953 M170 that I bought in 2017. Mine was a Marine Corps Radio jeep as best I can tell. I did the painting in the hay shed here on my farm.
You M170 looks really great. Mine is painted Marine Corps Forest Green and I used it here on my goat and llama farm in NC.
