456: Bill Foust’s 1947 Willys CJ-2A

My wife and I bought our Willys 7 or 8 years ago from a guy in Zenda, KS. We picked up the very forlorn looking 4th of July themed disaster with a blown engine and brought it home. It’s taken countless hours and all those years but with a body off restomod labor of love, we have restored it to its somewhat original glory. With the help of Kaiser Willys parts and information, Chilly is a fun daily-driver.

  1. Sorry for the late response, Shane…was literally out of the country. Thank you for your comment, Shane. The color was supposed to be Picket Gray but I think the painter went a little more brown than was expected.
