158: Peter Glasson’s 1958 Willys CJ-3B
My 1958 Willys CJ-3B was purchased new in 1958 coverted to right hand drive in Adelaide, South Australia, then off to the rugged Flinders Ranges in the north of the State for the next 33 years. “Willy” was put in a shed when he became past his “use by date” and for the next 19 years gathered dust. I purchased “Willy” in April 2010 and with a little help the motor started, drove him out the shed and onto a trailer and home to Greenacres. Four years later, my re-furbished CJ-3B is 100% street legal and fun to drive.

I’ve got it’s sister/brother? Purchased from Broken Hill (NSW) and now stripped down to the chassis for restoration in Brisbane (QLD). Waiting for our $ to rise a bit closer to the Greenback before I send a shopping list to Kaiser Willys.

You have done a great job. We have a right hand drive CJ-3B. We purchased our Jeep from Chris Goodridge in 2010. Chris is Niel Goodridges brother from marathon spares in tamworth NSW. We put our Jeep back on the road just before Christmas, after a rebuld in 2013. Great to see another CJ-3B back in action.
