Willys Overland offered the new Civilian Jeep or CJ-2A in nine colors between 1945-1947. The nine jeep colors are as follows: Harvard Red, Michigan Yellow, Autumn Yellow, Pasture Green, Black, Normandy Blue, Picket Gray, Luzon Red & Harvest Tan. We have put together a couple of samples of these colors on a CJ-2A for your reference. Please note: colors may vary from monitor to monitor. The sample Jeep tubs and wheels are the same color for this guide. Many CJ-2A’s have a different colored tubs & wheels, the choice is yours.
The 2011 Kaiser Willys color guide is as accurate to the original color documentation as possible. If you have any information to make it better please share.

I have my 46 2A in the paint shop now. It’s going to be Luzon Red. For the engine and Tranny/transfer case I have chosen Detroit Diesel Sage green, frame and diffs. get Sherwin Williams DTM black.

Thanks for the info, I remember looking for my yellow (Michigan Yellow) for my ’48 -2A in the late ’70’s had to settle on a Corvette yellow from 1974 that was ‘close’ but wasn’t the same….maybe the ‘redeux’ will be right this time….

Not at the current time – Usually the local paint and body shops can fix you up with what you need… However, we would be interested to know if more folks out there would like to see us carry them… Chime in and let me know!
