  7. I found a 1953 Willys Truck that lived on a farm in Modesto CA.
I got a Bill of Sale.
I was a ranch truck, with welded on pin for towing “forked” trailers hitches.
The Vin Plate is warn off, no number, What now?
    Any suggestions?
    Thank you, Kevin

  13. I’m new to the Willys world. I recently purchased a 1959 Willys wagon. It was restored by the previous owner and they removed all placards, replaced the motor, updated all the gauges and redid all the upholstery. Because of this I have no real identifiers to help break down what my Willys is. I have a VIN plate on the drivers side door jam and I was able to locate what I think is the serial number on the front right frame rail (12052). This is the first vehicle I’ve had where the serial number seems to define the vehicle. Unlike with the other classics I have owned I’ve been able to tell where it was manufactured, original engine size, trim options so on and so forth with just the VIN. What I’m confused about is are you not able to find those same things with these numbers on Willys? Thank you in advance!
