My Grandad was a Willys factory trained mechanic. I’ve included a photo of him at Willys school in 1953. He later owned a Cities Service gas station and wore a green uniform. As a toddler I called him Greengrong, because I thought he was Mr Green Jeans from the Captain Kangaroo show but couldn’t pronounce it or Grandad properly. This 1953 Willys Pick up Truck is named “Greengrong” in his honor.

Absolutely the BEST STORY IM A GRAND FATHER NOW WITH A 42&43 MILITARY REFURBISHED JEEPS
FOR MY 2 grand sons. Daily drivers. Oh Just found out I’ve Got 3rd one on the way. Looking for a 44 now ????????????????. Can not have but 1 more for a 45 Please god I can’t do it. Great color!!! I thought in would do a truck for me in a wild color like yours. BUT BUT BUT!!!!!!! 44 comes next. I’m not going to get my truck. Can’t take with me anyway. I’ll be pissed off if I learn you can ????????????

Thank you for the Pickup; Brought back a great Memory of my Father and his 50-51 Jeep Pickup. He had two of them, back to back when I was too young to drive. That Color really makes it stand out. GOOD JOB!!
