Hey! My name is Gilbert and this is my Willys story. My dad and I were cruising around Tijuana and found an abandoned car lot with lots of beautiful rides. In particular this covered car caught my attention and with the permission of the owner I uncovered it found a 1968 Jeepster commando that has been parked there for 10 years. We bought it and put a spare battery. We were amazed that the car’s oil was in good shape, lights and breaking was all good. So we fueled it up and the engine ran very smooth on the first try. Since then we’ve been fixing little things step by step since it’s a father son’s project.
