Heaven only knows where this jeep originated from, but I acquired it from a guy in my home town. The CJ-2A is a 1948 model and the condition was almost in shambles. In a continuous process of restoring, I have managed to bring this jeep almost alive one more time. After I got the jeep home, I looked at it and almost changed my mind about restoring it. However, I took a second look, and I could see the potential, and begin to strip the jeep down overhauling the motor first, and ordering parts that I needed for the restoration second. I’ve only been working on the project for 2 months, and yes, there is hope for this CJ-2A. I can see the forest for the trees. I am really excited about the restoration and completion of this project I’ve started, can hardly wait until completion.
