Bill Suski
This old wagon has been “modified” – Powered by a 283 Chevy V8 + Powerglide Transmission + ’57 Chevy Rearend – Recently added “mild” street cam, Elerbrock hi-rise + Holley 4-Barrel, New dual exhaust, shocks, sway bar bushings & end links, and new tires/wheels and side mirrors – also just installed (4) leather seats (slide/recline/etc) & 3-point seat belts.

Hi Bill,
Beautiful ride! Can you tell me what seats you used in the back and how you mounted your three point seat belts in the front and rear. I would really appreciate the assistance. Nice work.

Marty … boy… this is a tardy reply … I haven’t been good at looking at this. I used 4 center seats from a 2011 Honda Odesey … had to remove the tilt/tumble mechanisms. The two in the rear look like a bench seat between the rear wheel wells! To mount the seat belts … I drilled and taped 3/8-24 holes in pieces of 5/8″ square key stock and “fished” them into a body channel over the windows … drilled a 25/64″ hole thru the body channel where I wanted the seat belts to mount and “slotted” the metal window frame to go on over the seat belt mount without removing the seat belts. Used steel bushings to space the seat belt pivot away from the window frames.
