420: Gary Olson’s 1949 Willys Jeepster

This is an original Fairbanks Alaska vehicle purchased at the Willys Overland dealer on Illinois St. in downtown Fairbanks. Mechanicals all had to be rebuilt and electrical wiring replaced with period cloth covered harness. The new top is only the third for this vehicle and only the second coat of paint. I purchased the Jeepster 4 years ago and this is the first year we have really been able to just enjoy it. Many outings and shows and looking forward to many more years of fun.
