This is our 1953 CJ-3A with rear pto and all original sheet metal. This is our 1st Willys, we have had jeeps, but never a Willys. We appreciate your company and have been very happy with the parts we have purchased. This was a diamond in the rough and from Alaska. We have been in contact with the previous owner from Alaska, and stay in contact with his family. We also have talked with the owner prior to Alaska, when the Willys was in Idaho. At one time it had a tin roof installed, we have been bringing it back to original.

    That top was an original military arctic cab. I had one for my CJ-2A. I came in a wooden crate, and was solid & secure. I took it off for the convertible top.

  3. Very good work. I had a CJ5 model 78, I sold it after I had finished paying it 3=years later. I am a real fan of jeep, unfortunately Jeep is in italian hands and don’t make them any longer. I will post my pictures when I get down to it. Hip Hip Hurra for all the Jeep owners

    Congrats on an excellent “back to life” adventure! It was great seeing it stripped down and the exhaustive effort you put into it and you did NOT upgrade the engine, but left it stock When I was three, I was with my parents when they bought the CJ-2A which I still drive in nice weather, here in Idaho. I did a similar rebuild back in the 70’s and, of course, remained completely stock, even still 6 Volts.
