374: Justin Hasenack’s 1949 Willys Jeepster

This is my 1949 Willys Jeepster that I picked up from an elderly couple. It took me about 8 months to complete and it’s on a 86 S10 blazer frame with a SB 350 under the hood. I did all of the work myself from the frame to the body and paint.

  1. Love what you did with the jeep. I have one very similar may be 1948 willys jeepester I’m looking to find a person who’d like to buy an restore it. Make some one a nice jeep.

  3. That’s beautiful. Love the GM rally wheels on it.
Looking to do something similar with my 51 Willys truck.
Thinking maybe a Toyota Tacoma 4×4 chassis, or Chevy Colorado.
While I love them original, they aren’t too practical any further than about 25 miles away from home….
    Great resto job.

  5. good look, I have an original one
and it takes me 3 years to leave it almost new

but I think the modified ones are in another category

          They are not willys anymore.

    equally praiseworthy his work

    rgds.
