036: Bill Preston’s 1948 CJ-2A

This is my 1948 CJ-2A. Last year I resurrected a 1948 CJ-2A from the crusher…rust, rust, and more rust. No useable gears, axles, or engine. Here are some pictures of the progress.

  1. Nice restore job Bill. I just started restoring my ’48 CJ-2A in August. I am having a blast fixing this Jeep that was bought new by my Grandfather in ’48(when I’m not frustrated and ready to blow it up).

  2. Nice,I have it’s look a like in my shed, almost had to see if you had stolen mine……looks great!
