Randy Hoagland's 1953 Willys CJ-3A

280: Randy Hoagland’s 1953 Willys CJ-3A

This Willys CJ-3A belonged to my uncle for 43 years and sat in his garage for many years not running. One day he calls me and asked if I would like to buy it. I had always admired it and as a kid this was the rig we always went hunting in. Of course I said yes, and the project began.

  1. Randy, Is your family tree in Oregon? Mine is in Missouri, but some family members have changed the spelling to Hoagland. I HAVE A 48 CJ2A that I bought back in1966.It has been restored completely. We have hunted with it in Arizona all of these years.i put it in the PHOTO GALLERY years ago. Don’t know if it is still in there or not. Your jeep looks good, you did a nice job on the restoration
