New Exhaust Manifold – Part#: 947233
Q: Does this come with the gasket and mounting hardware?
Q: Will this part fit my 1965 CJ-3B?
- A: Yes that is correct.
Q: Where do I find manifold bolts for 56 CJ-5 4-134F engine?
- A: They are just a local hardware store item.
Q: Can you guys get new 1967 CJ-6 dauntless v6 manifolds?
- A: They are only available used for the V6-225. We can probably help though.
Q: Do you have an exhaust manifold for a 1955 Wagon with the 6-226 engine? New or used.
- A: We have good used available.
Q: What year did the 226 engine come out?
- A: They started in the 40’s in the Kaiser Frasiers but Willys really started using them in 1954 in the Willys Truck’s and Station Wagon.
Q: Will this exhaust manifold fit the L head engine?
- A: No this is for the 4-134 F head only. Try 801826 part number.
Q: I saw a previous question regarding manifolds for dauntless v6. You said you could probably help. Do you have any contacts that may have a set for a 1969 CJ5? I assume the 70 and 71 models would be pretty similar if not the same. I think this is about the time they started installing emission control on them. Not sure if the 75 and 76 Buick engines would have same set up but it is my understanding that other than cylinder bore the engines used by Buick were the same odd fire configuration.
- A: The manifolds for a V6-225 are only available good used. Please call us toll free and we can probably point you in the right direction.
Q: Do you recommend using any type of high temp perma-tex (red?) along with the gaskets when installing manifold part 947233? Everyone I have asked says no need to, but it looks there is some in the video clip “Willys Jeep Exhaust Manifolds &…” shown above on this webpage. Thanks!
- A: I would yes. It just prevents leaks. Mainly on the studs.

I’m looking for a drivers side exhaust manifold for a 67 Dauntless V-6 225. This is the manifold that has exhaust flange that exits to the front. If you could give me a couple suggestions on where to look.
