214: Patrick Moreillon’s 1957 CJ-5
My CJ-5 Universal was first registered on February 18th, 1957 on the Swiss Federal car registry, apparently bought new as a civil car by a Farmer located in Valais (Swiss mountainous region). Since it seems I am the 3rd owner of this little beauty. The original colour was “President Red”, but obviously got repainted in Navy Blue by the former owner who further added the NASA logo (quite properly managed).

As I see your CJ-5 I notice the windshield to be a 2 piece glass that will open. I thought that only the military M-38 A1’s had that feature. Are you sure this is not a replacement on that vehicle? The opening windshield was a coveted add on for people restoring the CJ-5’s. You have an enviable vehicle.
