089: Jay Bernhardt’s 1949 Willys CJ-3A
This is my 1949 Willys CJ-3A. Bought this from a couple in central Idaho in October 2010. It had sat since 1977. I’ve been slowly putting it back together as originally as possible. Other than sandblasting the tub, Seat covers and the engine machining I’ve done all the work myself. I hope to have it running this summer. Just put the finishing touches on it with a new top.

What did you do with old top and doors? Am interested and probably many others like me. I have a ’48 cj2a I’m restoring. Love top and doors. Would you be interested in parting with them?

the top was home made and I had to dismantle it totally to get it off. it must have had over 2 hundred standard screws with square nuts. I still have the doors and back. yours if you want them.
