I bought this Jeep as a pile of parts on a trailer. As it’s from New England, the original tub was toast, so it came with an 80’s vintage fiberglass unit. I had to scrounge for some pieces, but, all in all, it was complete… completely shot that is. Thanks to Kaiser Willys, I was able to obtain everything to rebuild or replace all the systems. We all know how much paint materials are, so I used Rustoleum primer and enamel on it after stripping every inch of green off it. I also used a roller, not a spray gun. I am happy with the results and touch up is a snap. The F-134 ran very good after a real tuneup and new fuel system. I take it out several times a week, but speed is limited due to the 5:38 gearing. Someone must have ordered it for snow plow or farm duty. I fabricated a rear fold down spare tire carrier and the side steps. I enjoy driving it now that many of the bugs are worked out, and get many many Jeep waves.

Nice job! I’m close to done on my 68, also a new england Jeep that was worked hard for many years. It was a basket case. Waiting for a few more parts then I’ll hopefully get it in the road before it snows! It’s been 3.5 years of work, so I’m ready!

That’s quite a spare tire rack, you might consider getting a patent on it. Nice going.

Put some 34X9X16 underneath. It will counter your low gears. Tite fit but it works on my CJ5, rubs only during serious offroading.

I can’t wait to go for a spin on my next visit!

Nice to see another basket case brought back to life, where did you find those wheels ? I really like the overall appearance
