Q: Does this turn signal come in 6 volt?
- A: It works on either 6 volt or 12 volt.
Q: Is there a wiring diagram showing how to install?
- A: Yes, It comes with complete wiring instructions.
Q: Will this work with LED lamps?
- A: Yes, you will just have to wire it in. It works on either 6 or 12 volts.
Q: I want to add turn signals to my 1955 M38A1(currently has stop and tail only). What light do I need to add along with this kit for front and rear turn signals?
- A: This should be good to go. Just make sure you are running 12 volt.
Q: Does this switch kit work with integrated stop/turn lights or do I have to use separate lights?
- A: Yes, that is correct.
Q: Where can I see if my 1946 jeep is either a 6 or 12 volt?
- A: Check your coil and voltage regulator. They are the best way or just your battery.
Q: Is this self canceling? The old one I have has a rubber wheel that turns when you turn the steering wheel and turns off the signal after the turn.
- A: This is a manual canceling turn signal.
Q: Do you have this turn signal switch kit in black color?
- A: No only chrome. But you can paint it.
Q: Is this switch self canceling? Does it have the little rubber wheel that makes contact with the bottom of the steering wheel hub and rotates to cancel the signal after you turn?
- A: These are not self canceling.
Q: THE TURN SIGNALS I BOUGHT FROM YOU WORK FINE BUT THE EMERGENCY FLASHERS QUIT WORKING ALMOST AS SOON AS THEY WERE INSTALLED. SOLUTION?
- A: I would double check your flasher. Sounds like it went out.
Q: Is this turn signal military model for M38? In negative case, do you have the military model like original? Thank you.
Please inform also if you have the main battery box for M38.
- A: This will work just fine for M38 as long as you are running 12 volt. We also have the battery box and floor available too.
Q: Does this kit include the 6 volt flasher or is that a separate item?
- A: It is a separate item.
Q: How many wires on the switch ??? 6 or 8 ???
- A: I believe 6 but will have to check.
Q: Does a flasher have to be used with this kit?
- A: Yes you will want to wire in a flasher.
Q: I have the Painless wiring harness for my jeep, Will this work with it?
- A: Yes it should work fine. We have the proper wiring harnesses if you need them too.
Q: This chrome turn signal it works for 24 volts? Because I have a willys j44 that is 24 volts, two battery of 12 volt each.
- A: It may if you step down the voltage.
Q: Is this item waterproof?
- A: It is water resistant.
