Complete Front Disc Brake Conversion Kit – Part#: 376895

Q: What master cylinder are you using ?

  • A: You want to use a master cylinder specific for disc brakes. We sell a kit try part numbers: 376896 or 376897 depending on your Willys. However we do have customers that use a standard master cylinder with little problem but we recommend the disc one and proportioning valve.

Q: I have the stock steel 15″ wheels on a ’61 6-226 with Warn hubs that I would like to keep. Will spacers be required to clear the rotors/calipers? Are aftermarket rims required like in some other kits? Will the Warn hubs present a problem with the kit?

  • A: You should be all set on this. Occasionally you have to do a little grinding on the backside of your rim for clearance if you are 15″ but really you shouldn’t have any problems. This kit is very straight forward and easy to install.

Q: Disc brake conversion kit for 48-51 Jeepster 2 wheel drive??

  • A: This kit is for 4WD vehicles only.

Q: Will this fit a DANA model 27 front axle? Do you have an upgrade option for stainless braid brake hoses with the kit?

  • A: Yes it will work fine for Dana 27. On the lines this is something you would have to match up locally.

Q: I see this kit is for 46 year and newer is there a kit for a 42 military mb willys if so where can I read about it and is it a easy change over?

  • A: This kit will work for 41-45 MB/GPW as well.

Q: I have a 1962 Willys panel truck with a straight axle 2 wheel drive…Will the front disc kit fit or is it just for four wheel drive….I’m looking for something that fits…

  • A: These are for 4WD vehicles only

Q: Will this work on 1966 jeep commando (Jeepster)?

  • A: It should as long as you have a Dana 25 or Dana 27 front end.

Q: Do you sell a rear disc conversion kit? For a 1953 CJ-3B.

  • A: This is for front only. We can get you fixed up with all new parts for your rear drums.

Q: Will there be a rear conversion for the 63 Wagoneer?

  • A: Please call us toll free. We should be able to help out.
