Q: How do you know if the heat riser is working? Will you see a physical movement?

• A: Yes, it will open the flap up. You will see the counter weight move.

• A: It should be spring loaded. Make sure the spring is still there and under tension.

• A: There really is no adjusting it per se. The spring just needs to go over the tab to spring load it.

• A: Some were welded some were held in with 2 small flat head screws.
